Jan 2018 - just to save anyone the trip this restaurant has sadly burnt down in Dec 2017. We didnt know this and made the trip based on excellent reviews but found this instead. We didnt see any information online on any of their sites so just thought we would place the info here for other guests.
Great atmosphere if your chasing an alternative to backpacker haunts. Food was plentiful and top notch without the high price. Customer service was also welcoming considering we arrived to a full house. Photo is of the plate of squid, great meal thanks.

Beautiful beachside location in Wongaling. Service and food are really good. Also a good place to have a beer in the bar. I had the special seafood curry which was very tasty. Good for kids. We always book.
Very exceptional.. Excellent and a menu that caters for all pockets from top restaurant to pizza pasta fries takeaway delivery and a courtesy bus too... As a chef and someone who's eaten at MOST worthy venues in the far north this place is right up there if not the best
